We are thrilled to announce two new collaborations: the Neapolitans Ra di Spina and the Occitans Barrut are joining our family.

Our voices are rooted deep in the earth just as a tree with its strong rough roots.

A voice is a root, an X-ray of Being. The popular melodies we sing connect our roots to contemporary times.”
Ethnical roots, deeply related to the heart of popular south Italian folk music, mixed with contemporary electronic sounds of loopstation and synth. Above all, voices, voices, voices. Ra di spina is a vocal-centred project founded by Laura Cuomo, vocalist and researcher.
A timeless music is born, joining voices and electronic sounds, where archaic and modern influences collide.

Barrut is a a thread stretched across the abyss. Harmony keeps us from falling.

Barrut are seven singers and a percussionist who find the source for their magnetic and wild songs in the vocal polyphonies of the French region of Occitânia. Melodically irresistible, they carry the Mediterranean in the powerful rhythms in which each song is hooked, creating a unique sound environment, like a popular song that can be said to translate the surrounding social environment and nature at every moment. With their own poetry and believing that their music must emerge from a shared creative process, Barrut invade our senses and take us on an unforgettable journey.
